Seven outdoor treatments, April through October

A monthly summer program for the outside of your Flint home, with inside treatments at no additional cost when they are needed.

Chapter 01

Seven treatments, April through October

The program is seven outdoor preventative treatments spread from April through October, the stretch of the year when Genesee County houses fill up with things looking for a way in. Each visit works the outside of the home, where ants, earwigs, box elders, Asian beetles, spiders, wasps and yellow jackets get started.

It also covers the other occasional invaders, the odd beetles and crawlers that turn up on a windowsill without being asked. Treating the outside means they are stopped before the kitchen. Call 810-736-9513 or stop by 4294 Richfield Road in Flint and we will tell you which part of the program fits what you are seeing.

A few pests sit outside the program on purpose. Fleas, roaches, bed bugs and pantry pests, as our program notes put it, "cannot be prevented because they are carried by people, pets, products and furniture". If you find one of those, call right away instead of waiting for the next scheduled visit.

Give each visit seven to ten days

Treatments need time to work, so give each service 7 to 10 days to reach maximum effectiveness. If the insects are still around after that, call 810-736-9513 and we will return to treat the area again at no additional cost. Inside treatments are provided if necessary at no additional cost as well.

Yellow jackets that nest in the ground are the thing to watch between visits. Report a ground nest when you find one, and removal is included if it is close to the home perimeter. Until a technician has been, do not mow or weed around an active ground nest. Keep the mower and the weeder away from it.

The same patience applies indoors. Do not caulk an active entrance, and do not push on interior walls where you hear noise. Sealing a live entry point or pressing on a wall can move the problem somewhere you did not plan for. Call, tell us where you hear it, and let the technician take it from there.

Chapter 03

Staying on from one year to the next

Winter service is available on request at the same monthly service charge, so the program does not have to end when October does. Tell us when you call 810-736-9513 that you want it, and it carries on through the cold months for homes in Flint and across Genesee County.

Each year you stay on the program you are automatically invited back with no cleanout charge. Coming back for another season does not mean paying for a cleanout all over again. If you have a question about pricing, the answer lives in the FAQ on the home page, linked below.

The shop has run on one line since 1992: "The success of our service determines the success of our business." It is the reason a treatment that has not worked gets a free return visit, and the reason the family on Richfield Road would rather hear from you than guess.
